# Denver Web Design, Website Development and SEO

Plus AI search, Google Ads and local search, suburb by suburb

Kihan Marketing is a digital marketing agency. For Denver-area businesses, we handle SEO, website design and development, AI search, Google and Meta Ads, local search and social media. Each plan starts from the suburbs you serve, from Thornton to Castle Rock.

A homeowner in Highlands Ranch and a renter in Capitol Hill search for different things, under different place names. Your pages and Business Profile should use the names each of them types, and they stay in accounts you own.

## SEO services for Denver businesses

Our [SEO](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/seo/) work covers site audits, technical SEO, schema markup, content and link building.

Around Denver, some suburbs are growing far faster than the city. From 2020 to 2025, Commerce City grew 15.3 percent, Castle Rock 13.4 percent, Brighton 12.7 percent and Parker 12.3 percent. Denver itself grew 3.2 percent, and Lakewood less than half a percent. With growth this uneven, a business serving several suburbs gets a page for each one, not a single page for "Denver".

- Technical SEO and site audits
- Schema markup
- Content that answers real questions
- Link building
- Pages for each community you serve
- Search Console set up in your name

## Website design and development in Denver

We design and build [websites](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/web-development/) on WordPress or Next.js, and custom code where a site needs it, choosing the platform by how much the site needs to grow. We handle redesigns, speed work and maintenance too.

Colorado’s civil rights law lets a person with a disability sue a place of public accommodation that excludes them. Courts hearing those suits apply the federal ADA’s standards and defenses. Since August 2025, a business that fixes the violation within 30 days after the complaint is filed has the cap on its noneconomic damages cut in half. With a good-faith effort, that window can stretch to 120 days. The cut is lost if the business caused the violation knowingly, intentionally or recklessly. The law’s website accessibility rules are written for state agencies and other public entities.

For [ADA compliance](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/web-development/#ada-compliance), we test a site against WCAG 2.2 at level AA with automated checks, a keyboard and a screen reader. Then we fix what fails and test it again. It is technical work, not legal advice.

- New websites and redesigns
- WordPress development
- Next.js, React and custom code
- ADA compliance (WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Speed work and maintenance

## AI search, ads, local and social in Denver

### AI search

We work to get your business named in Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. That work is called answer engine optimization (AEO) or generative engine optimization (GEO).

Google says its AI features need no special markup. They draw on pages Google can index and a Business Profile kept up to date. So your pages carry plain answers to what Colorado customers ask. Is the rent on this listing the total price? Which physician delegated this treatment? Do you serve Ken Caryl and Highlands Ranch?

### Google and Meta Ads

We run pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on [Google Ads](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/paid-ads/), and paid social on Facebook and Instagram. We can build TikTok and LinkedIn campaigns when they fit.

In the year to July 2025, the Denver metro gained 10,945 people. Yet the City of Denver lost 978 and Arapahoe County lost 1,940, while Douglas County gained 6,345. So each county gets its own campaign and budget, and the budgets follow where people are moving.

July 2025 was the first month Denver International Airport handled more than eight million passengers. By default, a Google Ads campaign can also reach someone who has only shown interest in Denver, such as a visitor booking a flight. For a local service, we narrow it to people in the counties you serve, or regularly there.

### Local SEO

We handle [local SEO](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/local-seo/) and the Google Business Profile itself: categories, services, hours, photos and a weekly review process.

A Lakewood business that also serves Highlands Ranch cannot open a second profile at a virtual office in the south suburbs. Nor can it put a suburb in its business name. If it serves customers at their location, it can list the places it serves as service areas instead, Ken Caryl and Littleton included. Google allows up to 20.

The April 2024 windstorm cut power to as many as 150,000 electric customers at its peak, most of them in and around Denver. Google’s special hours cover a closure of up to six days in a row. A business shut for longer marks its profile temporarily closed until it reopens.

### Social media

We plan [social media](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/social-media/) around the Denver calendar. The National Western Stock Show fills about two weeks of January. Denver Pride runs through June. October brings the Great American Beer Festival and the start of the Denver Film Festival.

Our [brand design](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/brand-design/) covers logos, identity and guidelines, plus the templates for your posts and ads. A Beer Festival post then looks like the same business as your website and Business Profile.

## How Denver splits local search

Around Denver, local search follows the names people live by, not county lines. Aurora and Westminster cross counties, Highlands Ranch has no city government, and inside Denver neighborhoods do the naming. The Denver-Aurora-Centennial metro runs across ten counties, and the map colors the five where about 95 percent of its people live.

1. **City names cross county lines.** Aurora reaches into Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas counties. Westminster is split between Adams and Jefferson, and Littleton touches three counties. Google’s local results weigh how far a business is from the searcher. Distance ignores county lines, so a Westminster business can be close to customers in both Adams and Jefferson counties.
2. **Highlands Ranch is not a city.** More than a fifth of the metro lives outside city limits, and in Douglas County more than half does. Highlands Ranch has about 102,000 residents, more than Littleton, Castle Rock or Parker, yet it is an unincorporated community. So are Ken Caryl and Columbine. Pages and service areas should use the names people live by.
3. **Inside Denver, neighborhoods do the naming.** The city’s own map names neighborhoods such as Five Points, Capitol Hill, Cherry Creek and Montbello. LoDo and RiNo are not on that map, yet people search for apartments in both by name. Pages inside the city follow the names customers type.

### Metro Denver in numbers

- **24%** of the Denver metro’s 3.09 million people live in the City and County of Denver
- **78** statistical neighborhoods on the City of Denver’s own map, first drawn in 1970
- **82.4M** passengers through Denver International Airport in 2025, a record for the airport
- **50,000** homeowner insurance claims an insurance group estimated after one hailstorm, May 8, 2017

## Med spas, roofing, property management and real estate in Colorado

Colorado changed the rules for med spa websites in 2025 and for rental price ads in 2026. Roofers and real estate brokers answer to state rules of their own, and each card starts from them.

### Med spa and healthcare SEO

Our SEO, Google Ads and booking pages for Colorado med spas, plastic surgery practices and clinics start from one 2025 law, HB25-1024.

Some Colorado physicians delegate medical-aesthetic services to people who are not licensed health care providers. Since 2025, the physician must then post a notice on that person’s public website and all their advertising. It says the services are delegated and gives the physician’s name and Colorado license number.

Advanced practice registered nurses who delegate have the same duty, with their Colorado nursing license number. Both rules also require a notice on site and a signed consent form kept for at least seven years. Neither applies to a facility regulated under Title 25 of Colorado’s statutes.

So treatment pages, booking pages, ads and social posts each carry the notice, not only the footer.

- Colorado rule: HB25-1024, C.R.S. 12-240-147
- Also: C.R.S. 12-255-137, for nurses who delegate
- Services: Med spa SEO, Google Ads, booking pages

### Roofing

Hail drives the work: for Denver roofers we run roofing SEO and Google Ads and write storm pages that name the suburbs each storm crossed. On May 30, 2024, hail as large as baseballs fell in the Northfield area. The storm tracked from northeast Broomfield through Thornton, Northglenn and Commerce City, then across northern Aurora. In May 2017, baseball-size hail had fallen on Denver and western suburbs such as Arvada, Lakewood and Wheat Ridge. Storm pages work when they name the suburbs a storm actually crossed.

A Colorado roofer paid from an insurance claim may not advertise or promise to pay, waive or rebate any part of the deductible. No roofer soliciting work in Colorado may claim to be a public adjuster. So storm ads sell the inspection, the documentation and the workmanship.

For work on a home, the roofer must give the owner a written contract before starting. The owner may cancel within 72 hours of signing and get any deposit back in full. When insurance is paying, the owner may also cancel within 72 hours of written notice that the insurer denied all or part of the claim. A narrow exception covers unforeseen extra work. So a storm page can tell homeowners plainly that signing still leaves them time to cancel.

- Colorado law: C.R.S. 6-22-105
- Contracts: C.R.S. 6-22-103 and 6-22-104
- Services: Roofing SEO, storm pages, Google Ads

### Property management

Every rent on the Denver property manager websites we build shows its total price, as Colorado has required since January 2026. In the City of Denver, 51.2 percent of occupied homes are rented. In Douglas County the figure is 22.6 percent. Apartment marketing has a far bigger audience in the city than in Douglas County.

Since January 1, 2026, Colorado has barred showing a price for property unless the maximum total price is disclosed clearly and conspicuously. The Division of Real Estate says the law covers how landlords set and communicate rent. On interactive pages the disclosure must be unavoidable, though actual utility charges can stay out of the total. So every rent on a listing page, ad or post goes out with its total price beside it.

A Colorado landlord who expects to charge an application fee must, before screening, tell applicants they may provide a portable tenant screening report. One place the law lists for that notice is the home page of a property manager’s website, in at least 12-point bold type. A landlord that takes only one application fee at a time, and refunds it within 20 days after either side declines the lease in writing, is exempt.

- Colorado law: HB25-1090 and C.R.S. 38-12-904
- Renters: Most occupied homes in the City of Denver
- Our build: Property manager’s website

### Real estate

Colorado’s commission wants the firm’s name on every viewable page, so the listing, guide and neighborhood pages we build for Denver brokerages carry it. Colorado Real Estate Commission Rule 6.10 says a broker must advertise clearly and conspicuously in the name of the brokerage firm. The exception is a broker’s own property that the firm has not listed. On electronic media a broker owns or controls, each viewable page must show the firm’s name. Expired listings must come down within three days of the listing contract expiring.

Team names may not use words such as Realty, Company or LLC, and team ads must carry the brokerage firm’s name. The commission counts websites, social media and email signatures as advertising. So the posts and ads that send buyers to those pages carry the firm’s name too.

- Colorado rule: Real Estate Commission Rule 6.10
- Our client: Real estate agency
- Result: Clicks 1,545 to 2,478, July to September 2026 against 2025

## How to choose the best digital marketing agency in Denver

Ask anyone pitching you SEO, a website or ads, us included, these five questions. Good answers name Colorado laws and Denver suburbs, not only the city.

1. **Ask who will own the accounts.** The domain, analytics, Business Profile and every ad account should be registered to your business.
2. **Ask a Colorado question.** A med spa agency should know what HB25-1024 puts on a website. A roofing agency should know why section 6-22-105 keeps deductible offers out of ads.
3. **Ask which suburbs they would start with.** "Metro Denver" is not a plan when your customers are in Highlands Ranch, Arvada or Commerce City.
4. **Ask how the ads are targeted.** A good answer is people in, or regularly in, the counties you serve. A traveler reading up on Denver before a flight into the airport is not the audience for a local service.
5. **Read the reviews, not only the stars.** Skip the ones that only say "great team". The helpful ones name a task and what changed after it. Kihan Marketing is rated 5.0 on Google.

## Your Denver questions, answered

### Do you have an office in Denver?

No. We work remotely for Colorado businesses. Your website, Search Console, Google Ads and Business Profile stay in accounts you own, and you can see each change we make.

### Do you work in Aurora, Lakewood and Highlands Ranch too?

Yes. Aurora, Lakewood and Highlands Ranch each get their own pages, service areas and ad targeting. We start with the suburbs where your customers live.

### Do you offer ADA compliance work for Denver websites?

Yes, as technical work. We test the site against WCAG 2.2 at level AA and fix what fails. Common failures are low contrast, missing image descriptions, pages a keyboard cannot reach, unlabeled form fields, a confusing focus order and videos without captions. Then we test again with a keyboard and a screen reader. We never use overlay widgets. It is not legal advice, and no one can promise a site will never face a complaint.

### Does a Colorado property manager need a real estate license?

Generally, yes. Colorado counts renting, leasing or listing real estate for others for compensation as broker work, and doing it without a Real Estate Commission license is unlawful. A salaried on-site manager employed by an apartment owner is exempt for customary on-site duties. A management company’s website therefore follows the commission’s advertising rules too.

### When does snow matter for Denver marketing?

From September through May, on the National Weather Service’s monthly normals. March is Denver’s snowiest month on its long-term record. The western and southwestern suburbs average 65 to 70 inches a season against about 47 near the airport, so snow removal and roofing pages can differ by suburb.

### Should a Denver business start with SEO or Google Ads?

Often both. While new pages for suburbs such as Commerce City and Castle Rock are still climbing, ads bring in calls. They also show which searches turn into customers, so you know which suburb pages to write first.
