# El Paso Web Design, Website Development and SEO

Plus AI search, Google and Meta Ads, local SEO and social media

Kihan Marketing is a digital marketing agency. For businesses from El Paso to Horizon City and across the line in Sunland Park, we offer SEO, website design and development, AI search, Google and Meta Ads, local search and social media, with med spas and healthcare practices as a specialty.

Your customers live on both sides of a state line and an hour behind most of Texas. We make your business easy to find for all of them on Google, in AI answers and on Maps, remotely and in accounts you own.

## SEO services for El Paso businesses

Our [SEO](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/seo/) work covers technical audits, schema markup, content and link building.

In El Paso the pages matter as much as the code. Socorro, Horizon City and Canutillo each need a page of their own if you work there, written about that place. If you also take jobs in Sunland Park or Santa Teresa, a New Mexico page should say so plainly. A searcher there cannot tell from the words "El Paso" whether you cross the state line.

- Technical SEO and site audits
- Schema markup
- Content that answers real questions
- Link building
- Pages for each community you serve
- Search Console set up in your name

## Website design and development in El Paso

We design and build [websites](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/web-development/) on WordPress or Next.js, with custom code where a site needs it. The platform depends on how far the site has to grow and who will edit it. We also take on redesigns, speed work and upkeep for sites already live.

Our [ADA compliance](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/web-development/#ada-compliance) work tests a site against WCAG 2.2 at level AA, fixes what fails and then checks it again with a keyboard and a screen reader. It is technical work, not legal advice.

On an El Paso site we set the booking tool, the opening hours in the schema markup and the form replies to Mountain time. A plugin left on Central time shows every slot an hour off.

- New websites and redesigns
- WordPress development
- Next.js, React and custom code
- ADA compliance (WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Speed work and maintenance

## AI search, ads, local and social in El Paso

### AI search

We work to get your business named in Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. That work is called answer engine optimization (AEO) or generative engine optimization (GEO).

Google says its AI features have no extra requirements. A page has to be indexed and able to show a snippet in Search to be a source, and Google asks businesses to keep their Business Profile current. So we put plain answers on your own pages to what El Paso customers ask. Do you come out to Horizon City or Santa Teresa? Can you fix a roof before monsoon season? Do you see patients who are stationed at Fort Bliss?

### Google and Meta Ads

We run pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on [Google Ads](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/paid-ads/), and paid social on Facebook and Instagram. We can build TikTok and LinkedIn campaigns when they fit.

Google runs ad schedules on the account’s time zone. An account opened on Central time would run a 7 to 5 schedule in El Paso when you meant 8 to 6, so we check that setting before anything else.

Google’s default location setting also reaches people who have only shown interest in El Paso, such as someone in Ciudad Juárez searching for a store here. A plumber or clinic here usually wants only people who are in the area or regularly there, so we change that setting and decide on purpose whether Sunland Park and Las Cruces get their own campaign.

### Local SEO

We handle [local SEO](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/local-seo/) and the Google Business Profile itself: categories, services, hours, photos and a weekly review process.

A roofer or pest control company that drives out to Socorro and Anthony, Texas, serves customers at their homes, not at its own address. Google says such a business should hide its address and list the areas it serves instead.

### Social media

We plan [social media](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/social-media/) around the El Paso year, from the summer storms of monsoon season to the Sun Bowl Parade on Thanksgiving and the bowl game in late December.

Our [brand design](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/brand-design/) covers logos, identity, guidelines and the graphics for posts and ads, so a Sun Bowl week post, your Business Profile and your website look like the same business.

## How El Paso splits local search

Local search around El Paso splits across a state line, between the city and its faster-growing neighbors, and among communities with no city hall. El Paso and Hudspeth counties make up the El Paso metro. The federal Office of Management and Budget pairs it with Doña Ana County, New Mexico, as the El Paso-Las Cruces area, home to more than 1.1 million people in 2025.

1. **A state line runs through the metro.** Sunland Park and Santa Teresa sit across the state line in New Mexico, and there are two towns named Anthony, one on each side of it. Google ranks local results partly by distance, so a business near downtown El Paso is not close to a searcher in Las Cruces just because both sit in the El Paso-Las Cruces area.
2. **Some smaller cities are growing faster.** From 2020 to 2025 Socorro grew about 13 percent and Horizon City about 12, while the City of El Paso stayed close to level. Businesses that follow the new rooftops need pages and service areas for those cities, not only for El Paso.
3. **Some communities have no city hall.** Canutillo, Fabens and Tornillo are unincorporated communities with names of their own. A page for each one you serve should be about that community, from the road people take to reach you to the jobs you have done nearby.

### El Paso in numbers

- **28.8M** crossings into the US on foot or by car, bus or train at El Paso County’s ports of entry, 2025
- **30,288** active-duty military personnel at Fort Bliss in 2025, by the Texas Comptroller’s count
- **44** days in a row at 100°F or more, June 16 to July 29, 2023, a record for El Paso
- **112,758** El Paso County residents living outside the limits of any city or town in 2025

## Med spas, roofing, property management and real estate in El Paso

For med spas, plastic surgery practices and clinics, the SEO, ads and booking page start from Texas privacy and Medical Board rules. Roofers, property managers and brokerages in El Paso have their own Texas and city rules to follow.

### Med spa and healthcare SEO

Texas privacy law section 181.152 shapes the SEO, Google Ads and booking page we build for El Paso med spas, including its marketing consent line.

Texas has its own medical privacy law, and clinics and health care providers are among the covered entities it names. Under section 181.152, using a patient’s protected health information for a marketing message needs their clear and unambiguous permission, in writing or electronically, with a few narrow exceptions. So a booking form asks for marketing consent on its own line, apart from the appointment itself.

The Texas Medical Board lets a physician advertise as "board certified" only with a current certification from a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties, the osteopathic Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, or a board the Medical Board has approved. An El Paso surgeon’s page names the board, so a patient comparing clinics on both sides of the state line can check it.

Fort Bliss has its own hospital, William Beaumont Army Medical Center. A private clinic that wants patients from the post says on its own pages what it offers, who provides it and how to book.

- Texas law: Health and Safety Code 181.152
- Also: Medical Board rule 22 TAC 164.4
- Services: Med spa SEO, Google Ads, booking pages

### Roofing

For El Paso roofers we build roofing SEO, storm pages and Google Ads that go live by mid-June, ahead of the monsoon’s leaks and wind damage. The Weather Service counts El Paso’s monsoon season from June 15 to September 30. In 2006 the airport logged 15.28 inches of rain in that season alone, while a normal year brings about 8.8 inches in all. A gust of 82 mph on July 13, 2018 tops the Weather Service’s list of monsoon wind records. Leak and wind damage pages need to be live by mid-June.

Texas law says the policyholder pays the deductible, and an insurer with replacement cost coverage may hold back part of the claim until it sees proof that the deductible was paid. A storm page sells the roof and never offers to cover the deductible.

The City of El Paso asks contractors who do roofing work for proof of insurance and a bond when they register, and the registration has to be filed each year to pull city permits.

- Texas law: Insurance Code 707.002 and 707.004
- City rule: Yearly contractor registration
- Services: Roofing SEO, storm pages, Google Ads

### Property management

An El Paso property manager’s website from us aims renter pages at the city and gives Fort Bliss families a FAQ on ending a lease early under Texas law. About 39 percent of occupied homes in the City of El Paso are rented. In Horizon City it is about 15 percent and in Socorro about 18, so a manager’s renter pages find most of their audience inside the city.

Under Property Code 92.017, a service member who signed the lease while serving, or a dependent, may end it early after orders for a permanent change of station or a unit deployment of 90 days or more, with written notice and a copy of the orders. If the lease does not carry the notice the statute sets out about these early termination rights, the tenant also walks away free of any past-due rent. So the lease template carries that sentence, and a resident FAQ page for Fort Bliss families explains the rule.

- Texas law: Property Code 92.017
- Renters: 39% of occupied homes in the city
- Our build: Property manager’s website

### Real estate

Team names, domains and social handles get checked against the Texas misleading-name rule when we build listing pages, posts and ads for El Paso brokerages. Texas counts a team name as misleading when it uses words such as "brokerage", "company" or "associates" that suggest the team works apart from its sponsoring broker. An email address or website domain that makes a sales agent look like the one running the brokerage is misleading too.

Guide and neighborhood pages cover the area from Canutillo to Horizon City.

- Texas rule: TREC rule 22 TAC 535.155(d)
- Our client: Real estate agency, Sint Maarten
- Result: Clicks 1,545 to 2,478, July to September 2026 against 2025

## How to choose the best digital marketing agency in El Paso

Whoever you are thinking of hiring for SEO, a website or Google Ads, us included, put these five questions to them. The answers show whether they know El Paso or only swap in its name.

1. **Ask whose name is on the accounts.** Your domain, analytics, Business Profile and ad accounts should belong to your business, not the agency.
2. **Ask which clock your ads run on.** An agency that has not noticed El Paso keeps Mountain time may run your schedule an hour early.
3. **Ask about New Mexico.** An agency should say whether Sunland Park, Santa Teresa and Las Cruces belong in your campaigns, and why.
4. **Ask what Texas law asks of your site.** A med spa agency should know what section 181.152 asks of a booking form, and a property management agency what 92.017 means for Fort Bliss tenants.
5. **Read what reviewers say was done.** Reviews that describe the work tell you more than a star count.

## Your El Paso questions, answered

### Do you have an office in El Paso?

No. We work remotely, inside accounts you own: your website, Search Console, Google Ads and Business Profile. You can log in and see every change we make.

### Can you reach customers in Las Cruces and Sunland Park too?

Yes, if you serve them. They are in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, so we give them their own pages, service areas and, where it pays, their own campaign, rather than hoping an El Paso page reaches them.

### Can you make an El Paso website ADA compliant?

We can test it and fix it. We check the site against WCAG 2.2 at level AA with automated tools, a keyboard and a screen reader, and fix what fails, such as faint text, missing image descriptions, unlabeled form fields and videos without captions. We never use overlay widgets. It is technical work, not legal advice, and no one can promise a site will never be sued.

### What are AEO and GEO?

They stand for answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization. Both mean making your business easy for Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity to name, through pages Google can index that answer what El Paso customers ask, and a Business Profile that stays current. The assistant decides what it says, so no one can promise a mention.

### Does monsoon season change what an El Paso business should post?

For roofers, plumbers and property managers, yes. The storms run from mid-June to the end of September, so pages and posts about leaks, flooding and wind damage should go up before the first one, not after.

### Should an El Paso business start with SEO or Google Ads?

Often both. Ads can bring in calls from Horizon City or Canutillo this week, while new pages for those areas take months to rank. Meanwhile the ad data tells us which searches lead to paying customers, and those get pages first.
