# Fort Lauderdale Web Design, Website Development and SEO

Plus AI search and Google Ads, city by city across Broward County

Kihan Marketing is a digital marketing agency. For businesses across Broward County, from Pompano Beach to Pembroke Pines, we offer SEO, web design and development, AI search, Google and Meta Ads, local search and social media. Med spas and healthcare practices are a specialty.

Broward is a line of cities between the Atlantic and the Everglades, and your customers live in one of them. We help your business show up in each place you serve, get named by AI assistants and turn the visit into a booking, working remotely in accounts you own.

## SEO services for Fort Lauderdale businesses

We handle [SEO](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/seo/): site audits and technical fixes, schema markup, content and link building.

Google weighs how far a business is from the person searching. A roofer in Fort Lauderdale starts behind in a search from Coral Springs or Miramar, so each Broward city you serve gets its own page about your work there. A neighborhood inside the city, such as Victoria Park, can get a page too when you do real work there.

- Technical SEO and site audits
- Schema markup
- Content that answers real questions
- Link building
- Pages for each community you serve
- Search Console set up in your name

## Website design and development in Fort Lauderdale

We design and build [websites](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/web-development/) on WordPress or Next.js, and custom code where a site needs it, choosing the platform by how much the site needs to grow. Redesigns, speed work and maintenance are part of it.

Many Fort Lauderdale homes are used only part of the year, so a site here should take a booking or a question from customers who are out of town. Law firm Seyfarth Shaw counted 961 website accessibility lawsuits in Florida’s federal courts in 2025. Our [ADA compliance](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/web-development/#ada-compliance) work tests a site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We fix what fails, then check it again with a keyboard and a screen reader. It is technical work, not legal advice.

- New websites and redesigns
- WordPress development
- Next.js, React and custom code
- ADA compliance (WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Speed work and maintenance

## AI search, ads, local and social in Fort Lauderdale

### AI search

We work to get your business named in Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. That work is called answer engine optimization (AEO) or generative engine optimization (GEO).

Google says its AI features need no special optimization, only pages it can index, and it advises keeping the Business Profile current. So we write short, quotable answers to the questions Broward customers ask. Is Weston or Parkland inside your service area? Do you work on waterfront homes along the canals?

### Google and Meta Ads

We run pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on [Google Ads](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/paid-ads/), and paid social on Facebook and Instagram. We can build TikTok and LinkedIn campaigns when they fit.

About two thirds of Broward is conservation land west of the Everglades levee, and the ocean lies to the east. A wide radius drawn around downtown Fort Lauderdale takes in both and cuts across city lines. Google Ads can target cities and ZIP codes instead, so we set each campaign to the places you serve.

### Local SEO

We handle [local SEO](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/local-seo/) and the Google Business Profile itself: categories, services, hours, photos and a weekly review process.

Broward has 31 cities, towns and villages, and a profile can list up to 20 service areas, so we choose the ones your customers come from. If a flood or storm closes you for a few days, set special hours on the profile so no one drives to a locked door.

### Social media

We manage [social media](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/social-media/) around the Fort Lauderdale calendar. The king tides, the city’s highest tides of the year, usually come from September to November. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show runs from October 28 to November 1, 2026. On December 12, the Winterfest Boat Parade follows the New River to the Intracoastal and heads north.

Our [brand design](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/brand-design/) gives you the logo, identity, guidelines and post and ad graphics, so the site, the profile and every post look like one business.

## How Broward County splits local search

In Broward County, local search splits by city, along a narrow strip of land between the ocean and the Everglades. Federal statistics treat Broward, the middle of the three counties in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach metro, as a metro division of its own.

1. **A strip between ocean and Everglades.** Nearly everyone in Broward lives on the developed land east of the Everglades levee. That strip runs from Deerfield Beach in the north to Hallandale Beach in the south, so a service area here is a stretch of it, not a circle.
2. **Seven places over 100,000.** Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach and the town of Davie each have more than 100,000 residents. Together they hold about half the county, and each needs a page of its own.
3. **Outside the cities, one county district.** The few Broward neighborhoods outside any city, along with county facilities such as the airport, form the Broward Municipal Services District. Everywhere else that people live, the place they name is a city, town or village, and a page should use that name.

### Broward County in numbers

- **25.91** inches of rain at the Fort Lauderdale airport in the storm of April 12, 2023
- **99%** of Broward County residents live inside a city, town or village, by Census estimate
- **1 in 8** homes in Fort Lauderdale is kept for seasonal, recreational or occasional use, by Census estimate
- **4.77M** cruise guests through Port Everglades in fiscal 2025, by the port’s preliminary count

## Med spa, roofing, property management and real estate marketing in Fort Lauderdale

Florida’s rules for these trades apply statewide. What Broward adds is the setting: a High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, a city laced with canals and a large share of rented homes.

### Med spa and healthcare SEO

We handle SEO, Google Ads and booking pages for med spas, plastic surgery practices and independent clinics in Broward, starting from the Florida rule below.

A Florida electrologist who uses a laser for hair removal must work under the direct supervision of a physician trained in hair removal. Each patient’s first consultation must include an exam by a physician. A laser hair removal page should say who performs the treatment and who supervises it.

- Florida rule: Board of Medicine rule 64B8-56.002
- Applies to: Electrologists using lasers
- Services: Med spa SEO, Google Ads, booking pages

[Med spa SEO](https://kihanmarketing.com/med-spa-marketing/med-spa-seo/)

### Roofing

Broward roofers get SEO, storm pages and Google Ads from us, written for the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone and built to rank all year. Broward is one of just two Florida counties, with Miami-Dade, inside the Building Code’s High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. Roof pages here should speak to that zone’s part of the code, which does not apply in Palm Beach County or the rest of Florida.

The April 2023 flood fell in the dry season, not the hurricane season. NOAA recorded damage to more than 1,100 buildings in Fort Lauderdale, 766 of them with major damage. Leak and water damage pages need to rank all year.

Since 2025, a residential roof contract must carry a bold notice telling the owner to check coverage with their insurer before signing, if the work relates to a claim. Storm pages can tell Broward owners to expect it, so the notice does not surprise them at signing.

- Florida Building Code: High-Velocity Hurricane Zone
- Florida rule: Section 489.147(7), since 2025
- Services: Roofing SEO, storm pages, Google Ads

### Property management

Our websites for Fort Lauderdale property managers answer renters on Florida’s three-day notice and answer owners whose homes sit empty for part of the year. Nearly half of Fort Lauderdale’s occupied homes are rented, against more than a third across Broward, by Census estimate.

Florida’s notice for unpaid rent gives a tenant three days, not counting weekends or legal holidays. A resident page that explains the notice should count the days the same way.

About a fifth of Fort Lauderdale’s homes stood empty when the Census surveyed them, most of them kept for seasonal, recreational or occasional use. A manager’s site can answer what an owner asks while the home sits empty: who checks on it and who handles a leak.

- Florida rule: Section 83.56(3)
- Market: 46% of the city’s occupied homes are rented
- Our build: Property manager’s website

### Real estate

For Fort Lauderdale brokerages and agents we write listing pages and canal neighborhood guides that explain seawall rules and king tides to buyers. Visit Lauderdale counts about 165 miles of inland waterways inside the city. The city requires new seawalls to reach an elevation of at least 5 feet. A guide to a canal neighborhood can explain what that means for a buyer, along with the fall king tides.

We also run the posts and ads that send buyers to those pages.

- City rule: New seawalls at 5 feet elevation
- Our client: Real estate agency
- Result: Clicks 1,545 to 2,478, July to September 2026 against 2025

## How to choose the best digital marketing agency in Fort Lauderdale

Whoever you hire for SEO, a website or ads, us included, these five questions show whether they know Broward or only its name.

1. **Ask who owns the accounts.** The domain, Google Ads account, Business Profile and analytics should be in your company’s name from the first day.
2. **Ask a Florida question about your trade.** A roofing agency should know what the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone covers and what notice section 489.147 now puts in a roof contract. A med spa agency should know what Florida requires when an electrologist performs laser hair removal.
3. **Ask which cities they would start with.** Expect Broward names such as Sunrise, Plantation or Deerfield Beach, chosen from where your customers live. “South Florida” on its own tells you they have not looked.
4. **Ask where the ads will show.** A good answer names the Broward cities or ZIP codes you serve, and says why a radius around downtown was or was not used.
5. **Read the reviews for the work itself.** A review that names a rebuilt site or a new campaign says more than a star count. Kihan Marketing is rated 5.0 on Google.

## Your Fort Lauderdale questions, answered

### Do you have an office in Fort Lauderdale?

No. We work remotely, inside accounts you own: your website, Google Ads, Business Profile and Search Console. Every change we make shows up there.

### Do you work in Hollywood, Pembroke Pines and Coral Springs too?

Yes. Most Broward residents live outside Fort Lauderdale, in the county’s other cities, towns and villages. We plan pages, profiles and ad targeting for the places you actually serve.

### Do you also cover Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties?

Yes. Broward sits between them, with Miami-Dade past Hallandale Beach and Palm Beach County past Deerfield Beach. If you serve either one, it gets its own pages and its own campaign.

### Can you check a Fort Lauderdale website for accessibility?

Yes, as technical work. We check the site against WCAG 2.2 at level AA with automated tools, a keyboard and a screen reader. Then we fix what fails, such as low contrast, missing image descriptions, unlabeled form fields, a broken focus order or missing captions. We do not install overlay widgets. This is not legal advice, and no agency can promise a Florida site will never face a lawsuit.

### When should a Broward roofer have storm pages ready?

Before June 1, when hurricane season opens, so the pages are indexed before the first storm. The season runs to November 30.

### What are AEO and GEO?

Two names for the same goal: getting your business named when someone in Broward asks Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT or Perplexity for a recommendation. The groundwork is pages Google can index that answer real questions, plus a current Business Profile.

### Should a Fort Lauderdale business start with SEO or Google Ads?

Often both. Ads can bring calls from Davie or Pompano Beach while the pages for those cities are still new. The searches that bring calls then show which city page to write next.
