# San Antonio Web Design, Website Development and SEO

Plus AI search, Google and Meta Ads, local SEO and social media

Kihan Marketing is a digital marketing agency for businesses from San Antonio to New Braunfels. We handle SEO and AI search, design and build websites, and manage Google and Meta Ads, social media and local search.

Your customers search from Stone Oak, Schertz and Boerne, and they use those names when they do. We help them find you on Google, in AI answers and on Maps, working remotely in accounts you own.

## SEO services for San Antonio businesses

Our [SEO](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/seo/) work runs from technical audits and schema markup to content and link building.

Some searches here name the district, not just the city: a dermatologist in the Medical Center, a med spa in Stone Oak. So a site needs a page for each service and one for each area you really serve, written about that area.

- Technical SEO and site audits
- Schema markup
- Content that answers real questions
- Link building
- Pages for each community you serve
- Search Console set up in your name

## Website design and development in San Antonio

We design and build [websites](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/web-development/) on WordPress or Next.js, or in custom code when a site needs it. Which one we use depends on how big the site needs to get. We also redesign and speed up sites that already exist, and maintain them after launch.

For [ADA compliance](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/web-development/#ada-compliance), we test a site against WCAG 2.2 at level AA, fix what fails, then check it again by keyboard and screen reader. That is technical work, not legal advice.

In 2023 San Antonio’s airport logged a record 75 days of 100 degrees or more. On days like that, an air conditioning company’s site has to load fast on a phone and put the call button first. Texas requires an air conditioning contractor’s ads to carry its license number, with a few exceptions. We put that number on every page an ad sends people to.

- New websites and redesigns
- WordPress development
- Next.js, React and custom code
- ADA compliance (WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Speed work and maintenance

## AI search, ads, local and social in San Antonio

### AI search

We work to get your business named in Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. That work is called answer engine optimization (AEO) or generative engine optimization (GEO).

Google says AI Overviews have no extra requirements. It counts a page as a possible source once it is indexed and can appear with a snippet. It also advises putting important content in text and keeping Business Profile details current. So we answer, in plain words and on your own pages, what San Antonio customers ask. Do you take TRICARE for families from Lackland or Fort Sam Houston? Do you come out to Schertz and New Braunfels? Who gives the IV drips, and who supervises them?

### Google and Meta Ads

We run pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on [Google Ads](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/paid-ads/), and paid social on Facebook and Instagram. We can build TikTok and LinkedIn campaigns when they fit.

From 2020 to 2025, New Braunfels grew about 35 percent and Seguin about 39, against 8 percent in San Antonio. Towns growing that fast get their own campaigns and budgets, apart from San Antonio’s. Left on its default, Google also serves ads to people outside a town whose searches showed interest in the place. We limit each campaign to people who are in its town or regularly there.

### Local SEO

We handle [local SEO](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/local-seo/) and the Google Business Profile itself: categories, services, hours, photos and a weekly review process.

Google’s rule for individual practitioners shapes a clinic’s profiles. Where several doctors see patients at one address, such as a clinic in the Medical Center, the practice should have its own Business Profile, separate from theirs. A doctor who sees the public and can be reached there during stated hours may have one too, titled with their name alone.

A house cleaning company based in the city should add Schertz or Boerne as service areas, not rent a virtual office there. A profile can list up to 20 service areas.

### Social media

We run [social media](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/social-media/) on the San Antonio calendar, from the Stock Show & Rodeo in February to Fiesta in April and the long, hot summer.

We also handle [brand design](https://kihanmarketing.com/services/brand-design/): logos, identity, guidelines and the graphics for posts and ads. A Fiesta post, your Business Profile and your website then look like one business.

## How San Antonio splits local search

Around San Antonio, local search splits by town, not county: towns cross county lines, and places such as Helotes, Boerne and Seguin each need their own pages. The San Antonio-New Braunfels metro covers eight counties. More than nine in ten of its residents live in the four highlighted on this map: Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe and Kendall.

1. **Towns cross county lines.** Schertz reaches into Bexar, Comal and Guadalupe counties, and New Braunfels into Comal and Guadalupe. Target one county and you reach only part of Schertz. So we draw ads and service areas around towns, not counties.
2. **Bexar’s smaller cities get searched by name.** Besides San Antonio, more than two dozen cities and towns lie wholly or partly in Bexar County, among them Alamo Heights, Converse and Helotes. Searches such as "med spa Alamo Heights" show people use those names, so each one you serve needs its own page.
3. **Boerne and Seguin sit far from downtown.** Google ranks local results partly by how close a business is to the searcher. A searcher in Boerne or Seguin is far from a clinic near downtown, and that distance counts against the clinic. Reaching those towns takes a page, a service area and often a campaign for each one.

### San Antonio-New Braunfels in numbers

- **1.55M** people lived in San Antonio in 2025, making it the seventh-largest city in the US
- **438K** Bexar County residents live outside any city limits, about one in five
- **97K** jobs in Bexar County tied to the South Texas Medical Center in 2024, spin-off jobs included
- **223,349** Texas jobs, direct and indirect, tied to Joint Base San Antonio in 2025

## Healthcare, roofing, property management and real estate in San Antonio

Healthcare SEO in San Antonio starts from a Texas Medical Board advertising rule and a 2025 state law on IV therapy. Property management, real estate and roofing have Texas requirements too, on eviction notices, brokerage links and insurance claims.

### Med spa and healthcare SEO

Jenifer’s Law on elective IV therapy shapes the SEO, Google Ads and booking pages we build for San Antonio med spas. We build each one around the Texas rules below.

Jenifer’s Law took effect on September 1, 2025. It covers elective IV therapy, meaning therapy a patient seeks to ease temporary discomfort or improve temporary wellness. The law does not reach therapy given in a physician’s office, a licensed health facility, a licensed mental hospital or a state hospital. A physician may delegate ordering it to a physician assistant or an advanced practice registered nurse. Giving it may be delegated to either of them or to a registered nurse, each under adequate physician supervision. An IV page should say who orders the drip and who gives it.

The Texas Medical Board’s advertising rule for physicians lists several kinds of misleading ads. Two of them matter to a med spa. One is showing models or actors without saying they are not actual patients. The other is a paid presentation that does not say it was paid for. A med spa’s physician answers to that rule, so galleries label models as models and sponsored posts say they are sponsored.

UT Health San Antonio, University Health, Methodist hospitals and the VA’s South Texas Veterans Health Care System are among the institutions in the South Texas Medical Center. A small clinic cannot match their size, so its pages lean on detail: one treatment per page, who gives it and how to book.

- Texas law: Occupations Code chapter 172
- Also: Medical Board rule 22 TAC 164.3
- Services: Med spa SEO, Google Ads, booking pages

### Roofing

For San Antonio roofers we build SEO, neighborhood storm pages and Google Ads that sell the roof itself and never offer to act as the adjuster. On the evening of April 12, 2016, the National Weather Service recorded very large hail across a wide band just north of downtown San Antonio. There were multiple reports of 2 to 3 inch hail, and the largest stone, 4.5 inches across, fell about 3 miles southeast of Helotes. A roofer who works that side of town should already have a page for each neighborhood there when the next hailstorm comes.

The Texas Department of Insurance tells contractors that their websites and ads must not say or imply they will act as both contractor and adjuster. So a storm page sells the roof, not help with the claim.

- Texas law: Insurance Code 4102.163
- Storm on record: April 12, 2016, hail up to 4.5 inches
- Services: Roofing SEO, storm pages, Google Ads

### Property management

We handle listing pages, SEO and resident FAQs for San Antonio property managers, written to the Texas rules on late fees and eviction notices. About 48 percent of occupied homes in the city of San Antonio are rented, against fewer than one in four in Comal and Guadalupe counties. So a manager’s renter pages have their largest audience inside the city.

One change in SB 38 applies to eviction suits filed since January 1, 2026. It covers a tenant evicted only for unpaid rent who had not paid late before the month of the notice. That tenant must get a notice to pay rent or vacate, not a bare notice to vacate. Resident portal messages and notice templates should match.

Texas allows a late fee only if the written lease gives notice of it, the fee is reasonable and rent is still unpaid two full days after it was due. A fee of up to 12 percent of the rent is considered reasonable in buildings of four units or fewer, and up to 10 percent in larger ones. Resident FAQ pages should say so plainly.

- Texas law: SB 38, for evictions filed from 2026
- Also: Property Code 92.019 on late fees
- Services: Listing pages, SEO, resident FAQs

### Real estate

Every San Antonio brokerage site we build launches with the two TREC notice links on its homepage, in the type sizes the rules set. Every Texas real estate license holder’s business website must link to two TREC notices from a readily noticeable place on the homepage. They are Information About Brokerage Services and the Consumer Protection Notice. The full labels need at least 10 point type and the short "TREC" labels at least 12 point. On social media the profile itself may carry the links, or link straight to a page that does.

Listing, guide and neighborhood pages cover the area from Alamo Heights to New Braunfels, and we handle the posts and ads that point buyers to them.

- Texas rules: TREC rules 22 TAC 531.18 and 531.20
- Our client: Real estate agency, Sint Maarten
- Result: Clicks 1,545 to 2,478, July to September 2026 against 2025

## How to choose the best digital marketing agency in San Antonio

Before you hire anyone for SEO, a new website or Google Ads, us included, put these five questions to them. Good answers take real knowledge of Texas rules and of how this metro searches.

1. **Ask who will hold the logins.** Your domain, analytics, Business Profile and ad accounts should be registered to your business, not the agency.
2. **Ask a Texas question.** Someone marketing a med spa should be able to explain what Jenifer’s Law changed for IV therapy. Someone marketing real estate should be able to name the two TREC links a homepage needs.
3. **Ask which towns come first.** "The whole metro" is not an answer when your customers are in Alamo Heights, Converse or New Braunfels.
4. **Ask how they choose the audience.** Whoever runs your ads should show how they reach people in Schertz, Seguin or wherever you work. Your budget should not go to someone in Houston who once looked up San Antonio.
5. **Read the words, not the star count.** Look for reviewers who say what was built or fixed. Kihan Marketing is rated 5.0 on Google.

## Your San Antonio questions, answered

### Do you have an office in San Antonio?

No. We work remotely, and all of it happens in accounts you own, from your website and Search Console to Google Ads and your Business Profile. You can log in and see every change.

### Do you cover New Braunfels, Schertz and Boerne as well?

Yes. Boerne is in Kendall County, most of New Braunfels is in Comal and most of Schertz is in Guadalupe. People there search with their own town’s name. So we write a page for every town you serve and list it among your service areas.

### Can you handle ADA compliance for a San Antonio website?

Yes. We test it against WCAG 2.2 at level AA three ways: automated checks, a keyboard alone and a screen reader. Then we fix what fails, whether that is text too faint to read, images with no description, form fields without labels, a jumbled focus order or videos without captions. We never add overlay widgets. This is technical work, not legal advice, and no test can rule out a lawsuit.

### Will ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews recommend my business?

We make your business easy to cite. Your pages answer the questions people here ask, such as whether you cover Converse or Castle Hills, and your Business Profile stays current. The assistant decides what it says, so we never promise a mention.

### SEO or Google Ads: which should come first in San Antonio?

Often both. When hail hits north of downtown, ads can put a roofer in front of searchers that same day. New pages for the neighborhoods it hit can take months to rank.

### Does winter weather matter for San Antonio businesses?

It can. In February 2021 the airport stayed below freezing for 4 days and 12 hours, an hour short of the 1951 record. The Weather Service listed burst water pipes among the impacts. Plumbers and property managers should have freeze pages ready before the next one. Business Profile special hours cover closures of up to six days.
