We handle roofing SEO, storm pages and Google Ads for Twin Cities roofers, showing the state license number on every ad and site page. On June 19, 2026, a hailstorm crossed the metro from eastern Wright County toward Ellsworth, Wisconsin, dropping hail of 2 inches or more in northern Saint Paul. A storm page for Roseville or Woodbury helps only if Google has already indexed it when the hail comes.
In Minnesota, residential roofing contractors need a state license, apart from very small firms that are exempt. Section 326B.87 puts the license number on every ad, websites included. Under section 325E.66, a roofer may not advertise that it will pay the deductible. It may not offer anything in return for an inspection or a claim, and it may not adjust a claim without a public adjuster license.
The Minnesota Department of Commerce says ice dams come mainly from attic air leaks, and that adding roof vents will not eliminate them and often makes the problem worse. A winter page that explains this in the state’s own terms answers the question homeowners are asking.
