We measure SEO by position change. Position is where your page sits in Google's results. Not impressions on their own. Not "traffic is up." Not a report full of graphs. Position is what decides whether a search finds you at all.
What position change actually looks like
Three client sites. Each line gives the totals over 12 months. Then it sets the latest six months against the six before.
Island Dreams Realty
A real estate agency. 8,392 organic clicks from 290,194 impressions, at an average position of 12.1. Last six months: position 13.1 to 11.1, clicks 3,952 to 4,418.
Driftwood Builders Roofing
A roofing contractor. 4,169 organic clicks from 1,244,708 impressions, at an average position of 21.9. Last six months: position 26.7 to 19.1, clicks 1,491 to 2,671.
Panama Elite Homes
A real estate agency. 783 organic clicks from 111,133 impressions, at an average position of 17.0. Last six months: position 29.4 to 16.6, clicks 88 to 695.
Position 29.4 means nobody sees you. Position 19.1 is page two. On all three sites, position went up and clicks rose in the same window. That's why we lead with position.

Local SEO services
Most of what we do is local, because most of our clients sell inside a set service area. Here is what that work looks like.
One location to a whole metro
Local work can start with one location, grow town by town, then cover a whole metro. The roofing site in the results above grew that way. It went from roughly 50 pages to 250 or more. More than 40 of those pages cover towns and neighborhoods in Central Texas.
Location pages written, not templated
Copying one page for every town and changing only the name makes what Google's spam policies call doorway abuse. Their examples include pages aimed at different cities that all funnel people to one page. Pages like that stop working the moment anyone looks closely. We write each page around what is actually true of that town.
30 or more project pages
Built to show completed work, each job a page of its own.
A YouTube Knowledge Center
A roofing video library inside the website that looks like YouTube. It holds 200 or more videos, and the videos also become written roofing posts.
A rebuild when the site is the problem
Sometimes a site builder like GoDaddy is what keeps a business on page two. Then we rebuild the site, with hyper-local location pages and a booking page on Amelia.
Profiles and ads alongside
We manage Google Business Profiles and Yelp business pages. We also run Google Ads and Meta ads next to the organic work.
Position is what decides whether a search finds you at all.
Technical SEO and schema markup services
Technical SEO decides whether Google can crawl, render and index your pages. In plain terms: can Google find each page, read it, and store it so it can show up in search? It is the unglamorous half. It is also where a technical SEO agency earns its keep, or doesn't.
Duplicate metadata
A meta description is the short summary Google shows under your link. Listing platforms such as AppFolio write these by themselves. That is how duplicates get into a property management site in the first place. We find the duplicate meta descriptions and remove them.
Discovery at 250 pages and up
A page Google hasn't found cannot rank at all. We built Kihan Indexer so large sites get found.
Schema markup
Schema is code that tells search engines and AI assistants what a page is about. That might be a business, a service, a location, a property, a review or an article. Managing schema by hand across a 250 page site doesn't scale, so we built Kihan Schema. With it, a project page, a location page and a service page all describe themselves the same way. It is also a low-cost way to make a site easier for search engines and AI tools to read.
AI SEO and answer engine optimization
Search now includes AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and other assistants. They read a page and answer on your behalf. Getting cited by them is a different problem from ranking in the usual list of links. Some call it answer engine optimization, others generative engine optimization.
The work is the same either way. Google's guide to AI features and your website says there are no extra requirements to appear in AI Overviews. It says the usual SEO best practices still apply. An AI SEO agency that sells it as a separate product is charging you twice for the same pages.
Quotable in fragments
Clear subheadings. Direct answers, stated in one sentence instead of hinted at over three paragraphs.
Facts tied to your business
Schema spells out what your business is and does. Google does not require it for AI Overviews, but it takes the guesswork out of your name, services and locations.
Part of the build
We do AI citation work on the same pages, as part of the SEO and the site build. It is not an extra.

Links follow from pages worth linking to.
Link building
Link building runs alongside content, not instead of it. Links follow from pages worth linking to.
Backlinks with SEO and social
A backlink is a link to your site from another site. We build them as part of the wider SEO and social media work.
Listing marketing and the AppFolio API
For property managers, we pair backlinks with better AppFolio listing marketing. We also advise on the AppFolio v1 API and its reporting. We do this on sites we did not build, too.
SEO audit
An audit covers the whole site. What we find is put in order of what is likely to move.
Technical health and indexation
Whether Google can crawl, render and index the site, and what it has actually indexed.
On-page structure and schema
The headings, the links between your pages, and the schema behind each one.
Content coverage
What people actually search for, set against the pages you have to answer it.
Local listings
Your Google Business Profile and the map pack, the map results at the top of a local search. This applies if you have a storefront or serve an area.
You get back an ordered list: what to fix, and what each fix is likely to move. Not a 60 page PDF. If we go on to do the work, the audit becomes the build plan.
Content, site structure and programmatic SEO
Content work is where the structure gets decided. Structure is the difference between 50 pages and 250 pages that each earn their place. Three page types do that work. Each one meets the buyer at a different point in the same decision.
Guide pages
Answer the question someone has before they know what they want.
Hub pages
Hold a topic together and pass their strength to the pages beneath them.
Near-me pages
Catch the searches that happen once someone is ready.
What we build on that structure:
Real estate sites
Guide pages, hub pages and near-me pages, plus enhanced listings, vacation rental listings and blogs. A site can start as one landing page for a single development and widen from there.
Property management sites
AppFolio's own website product is limited. We build past it: a site of 250 pages or more, where every managed property has its own page. Each page carries that property's live availability listing with amenities, features and photos. We also rebuild the calls to action and the lead capture forms.
Our own AppFolio tools
We built the AppFolio Listings Pro plugin. It shows AppFolio's listings as the site's own code, so buttons, styles and CSS can be changed. We also built a chat leasing tool on the AppFolio API. It shows real, active listings in full detail.
We build large sites with Kihan Internal Linker and our schema tooling. The Internal Linker is the piece that makes large sites work. Past a certain page count, the links between pages have to be kept up by a system. Otherwise the deep pages end up with nothing linking to them, and they never rank.

Questions small businesses ask about SEO
How much does an SEO company cost?
The cost of SEO services depends on how much work your site needs. The size of the site, the number of locations, how hard your searches are to win and whether new pages must be built all move it. Our pricing page explains what changes the scope. The free marketing audit shows where your site stands first.
How long does SEO take to show results?
SEO usually takes months to show results, and no one can promise a date. The timeline depends on where your pages rank now, how many competitors want the same searches, and whether the site needs new pages first. On the three client sites above, position and clicks both rose when the latest six months were set against the six before.
Is SEO worth it for a small business?
SEO is worth it for a small business when customers search for what it sells in the area it serves. Paid ads stop the day you stop paying. Pages that rank keep bringing people in without extra spend. SEO is less useful if your work comes only from referrals and you don't plan to compete in search.
How do you choose an SEO company?
Choose an SEO company that measures position, not traffic graphs, and can show real results in fields like yours. Ask to see a client's position before and after, with the time window. Google's advice on hiring an SEO says that if someone guarantees first place in search results, find someone else. Ask what the audit covers and what happens after it. Ask who owns the accounts, and how either side ends the agreement.
Working with us
An engagement usually runs in three parts.
Audit
We check technical health, indexation, structure, schema, content coverage and your local listings. You get an ordered list of what to fix.
Build plan
If we go on to do the work, the audit becomes the plan. It sets out which pages, what structure, which tools, and what each is expected to move.
Ongoing work against position targets
Most of it runs on WordPress. There, our own SEO plugin, schema tooling and internal linker do the heavy lifting. Most agencies don't walk in with those already built.
Website development, Google Ads, Meta ads, Google Business Profile and social media often run alongside the SEO. On most of the projects above, they were all part of the same job.
