Kihan Marketing is a digital marketing agency. If anything below is unclear, or you want your details removed, email info@kihanmarketing.com and a person will answer.
What the forms collect
Two forms on this site send us information, and both are the same intake. Nothing is collected unless you type it and press the button.
Your email address
Required, because a reply has to go somewhere.
Your website
Required, because it is the thing we look at.
What you think is wrong
Required on the longer form, in your own words, because it is what the first reply answers. The short audit form asks only for your website and your email.
Your name, and your market
Optional. The market is a place, not an address.
What is running now
Optional free text, in your own words.
On the pricing page only: what you are looking for, how big it is, and when you need it
Optional, and they exist so the first reply can be a scope rather than a phone call.
The page you sent it from
Recorded so we know what you were reading.
Where it goes and how long we keep it
An inquiry becomes an email. That is the whole mechanism.
It is sent to info@kihanmarketing.com over SMTP through our own Google Workspace mailbox, and the reply address is set to yours so answering the notification answers you.
There is no database, no CRM sync and no marketing automation behind these forms. Nothing is added to a mailing list, and there is no autoresponder or sequence.
It stays in that mailbox until it is no longer useful, the same as any other email a business receives.
If the send fails, the message is written to our server log so the inquiry is not silently lost, and the form tells you it failed rather than pretending it worked.
Cloudflare checks that a person sent it. Pages with a form load Cloudflare Turnstile, and when you press the button it runs a short check in the background to keep bots out. To do that, Cloudflare looks at information about your browser and device, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. It never receives what you typed into the form.
We do not sell, rent or share it. The only third party that receives your inquiry is Google, because that is who runs the mailbox.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where they are (city and country), what device and browser they use, and how they arrived, for example from a search or a link. It also records a few actions: clicking to book a strategy call, tapping the phone, WhatsApp or email links, and a form being sent. It records that a form was sent, never what you wrote in it.
Google Analytics sets its own cookies on this site, named _ga, so a returning visit can be told apart from a new one.
The data is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, by blocking cookies in your browser, or with a content blocker. The site works the same either way.
What the site does not do
Worth stating plainly, because most agency sites do the opposite.
No advertising tracking
No Meta pixel, no ad retargeting, no session recording, no heatmaps.
No other cookies
Apart from the Google Analytics cookies described above, the site sets no cookies and does not follow you across other websites. It keeps two things in your browser's storage: whether you paused the moving images on the portfolio page, which is cleared when you close the tab, and the articles you saved with the Save button, which stay until you remove them or clear your browser's site data. The saved list never leaves your browser; we cannot see it. Anything set inside the booking calendar, Cloudflare's spam check or a client website's frame belongs to Google, Cloudflare or that client, not to us.
No accounts, no logins, no payments
There is nothing to sign up for.
No AI training on your inquiry
What you send is read by a person and used to answer you.
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, in the way every web host does. We do not use them for marketing.
Third parties you can reach from here
Some pages link out to client websites we have built, and some show one live inside a frame. The footer links to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and to our Google Business Profile. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's site, under their privacy policy rather than this one.
Booking a free strategy call works the same way. The booking page is run by Google Calendar, and the contact page shows it inside a frame, so that part of the page loads from Google, and Google may set its own cookies in it. The details you enter to book a time go to Google, under Google's privacy policy, and the booking arrives in our Google Calendar. Nothing you enter there passes through this site.
Your choices
Ask what we hold
Email info@kihanmarketing.com and we will tell you.
Ask us to delete it
Same address. We will delete the inquiry and confirm.
Opt out of analytics
Use Google's opt-out add-on or block cookies, as described above.
Send less
Only the email address, the website and, on the longer form, what you think is wrong are required. Every other field is optional and a blank one costs you nothing.
Changes, and how to reach us
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the change will appear on this page rather than in an email nobody reads. The rules for using the site itself are in the terms of service.
