AI search in Fresno

We work to get your business named in Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. That work is called answer engine optimization (AEO) or generative engine optimization (GEO).

Google says its AI features need no new markup or AI text files. It asks for indexed pages with the important content in text, and a Business Profile kept up to date. Fresno-area search splits at the San Joaquin River, at the Clovis city line, and around county islands such as Fig Garden inside Fresno. The metro is two counties, Fresno and Madera, and the Census Bureau adds Kings County for the wider Fresno-Hanford-Corcoran area.

  1. The river is a county line. Madera County’s general plan says the San Joaquin River forms its boundary with Fresno County, with the City of Fresno just to the south. Madera and Madera Acres sit north of the river, in Madera County. Google weighs how far a business is from the person searching, so pages and service areas should name those places.
  2. Clovis is its own city. Clovis had 129,347 residents in 2025 and sits on Fresno’s northeast side as a separate city. Google suggests Clovis alongside Fresno in searches for property management. A business that works there needs pages and service areas that name it.
  3. County islands sit inside the city. Fresno’s Local Agency Formation Commission, which reviews annexations, describes the Fig Garden neighborhood as an unincorporated island surrounded by the city. The Census Bureau estimates that about 5,500 people live in Old Fig Garden. The commission says the many county islands around Fresno confuse people about boundaries and who provides services. A page for customers there should use the neighborhood’s own name.

Google’s suggestions for Botox in Fresno include Clovis, so treatment pages name both cities. Two California rules below shape how those practices talk to patients.

    Section 651 of the Business and Professions Code treats a claim of professional superiority as misleading. The exception is a claim relevant to the service and backed by objective scientific evidence. Without that evidence, a claim that one injector or clinic beats the rest stays out of titles, ads and review replies.

    Health and Safety Code section 1339.75 covers health facilities, clinics, physician’s offices and group practices that use generative AI for written or spoken messages to patients about their health. Each such message needs a notice that AI wrote it and a way to reach a person. The rule does not apply once a licensed provider has read and reviewed the message, or to scheduling and billing. So AI-drafted aftercare emails carry both, or go to a provider for review first.

    In Fresno, Clovis and Madera, our roofing SEO, reroof pages and Google Ads answer the cool roof rules Climate Zone 13 sets for replacements. Fresno, Clovis and Madera all sit in the state’s building Climate Zone 13. There, the energy code sets cool roof rules for roof replacements.     Our owner pages for Fresno property managers explain the city’s rental registry and inspection rules, and say plainly that they cover only city addresses. The City of Fresno requires residential rental properties to be registered, and the registration updated whenever the owner or contact details change. Short-term rentals register too, though they are exempt from inspection.

    Inspectors check a random share of units at each property, from every unit at a single rental to 15 percent at 21 units or more. One route into the city’s self-certification program is a state-licensed property management company that inspects the property at least once every 12 months and again at each change of tenant. A manager that already runs those inspections can say so on its owner pages.

    The act is a city ordinance. Old Fig Garden and the other county islands lie outside the city limits, so owner pages should say the registry covers only city addresses.

    For agents selling in Fresno and Clovis, we build listing and neighborhood pages that fit each city’s housing, and run the ads behind them. Housing ages differ across the metro. In Clovis, 43.9 percent of homes were built in 2000 or later; in the City of Fresno, 23.1 percent. Listing and neighborhood pages should speak to the homes that are actually there.

    Section 11018.2 covers subdivisions that need a public report from the Real Estate Commissioner. Their lots cannot be sold, leased or offered for sale until the report is issued. So pages that offer lots in a new subdivision go live only after the report is issued.
