In the Salt Lake Valley, our roofing SEO, service-area pages and Google Ads give each S280 service a page and keep deductible offers out of the ads. Utah’s S280 Roofing Contractor license classification covers shingles, tile, slate and roof membranes, plus non-electrical skylights and insulation. A contractor licensed under it can give each of those its own service page.
Utah Code 13-50-302 bars a residential contractor from rebating any part of an insurance deductible to win a job. Section 13-50-303 requires that warning, in capitals, on every written contract, estimate or work order paid from an insurance policy. So ads for storm and insurance work should leave the deductible out.
The magnitude 5.7 earthquake of March 2020 did its worst damage in Magna. Salt Lake City’s Fix the Bricks program retrofits unreinforced brick homes built before 1975 for low-income owners. Roof-to-wall connections and chimney bracing come first. The program is currently closed. A contractor licensed for that bracing can give it a page of its own, written for owners of older brick homes.
