Two plans, so the site stays out of the way

Westridge Apartments has one bedroom and two bedroom homes, The Olympic at 800 square feet and The Pacific at 1,025. With a choice that simple, an elaborate plan browser would be friction rather than help. The homepage states the range, the starting rate and the layout count in a single band near the top, and the decision is available immediately.

A text-first hero that loads instantly

Most community sites open on a full-bleed photograph. Westridge opens on type: the name, the city, one sentence of what the community is, and two buttons. It renders almost immediately even on a weak connection, and the photography follows underneath rather than blocking the first screen.

Full-size laundry, said out loud

Every home has a full-size washer and dryer, not a stacked apartment unit, and for renters moving from a building with a shared laundry room that single detail decides the tour. It appears in the summary band rather than being buried in an amenity list.

Positioned by the roads people actually use

The community sits at 2997 Crosby Blvd SW with convenient access to US-101 and I-5. In Thurston County that is how renters describe where they live, so the site uses the same language rather than talking about proximity in the abstract.

Why this matters for a two plan community

A small community cannot outspend a large one on marketing, but it can be clearer. Stating the two layouts, the sizes, the starting rate and the laundry in the first screen means a renter either self-selects or moves on, and the leasing office spends its time on the ones who fit.

The work behind the website

Westridge Apartments launched with a custom text-first design chosen for speed, a responsive mobile-first build, and a summary band that puts the plan count, size range and starting rate above the fold.

The build also covered an indexable availability page on the community’s own domain, ApartmentComplex and BreadcrumbList structured data, and an llms.txt written for AI assistants.

Live availability, indexed on the community's own domain

Most apartment websites hand renters off to a third-party portal, so the listings live on someone else’s domain and the community never gets the search credit for them. Westridge Apartments serves its availability from its own domain, where every listing is a real, indexable page.

Search and AI visibility built into the site itself

Westridge Apartments carries ApartmentComplex and BreadcrumbList structured data describing the community, its address and its floor plans, plus an llms.txt written so AI assistants can read the community’s facts directly. Both are part of the build rather than a plugin bolted on afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

The Westridge Apartments website was designed and developed by Kihan Marketing, a Seattle-based web design and digital marketing agency that builds websites for apartment communities and property management companies.

The site includes both floor plans, The Olympic at 800 square feet and The Pacific at 1,025, with published starting rates; an amenities section covering the clubhouse with fitness center, wood-burning fireplaces and full-size in-home laundry; a Tumwater neighborhood page; a photo gallery; and an availability page on the community’s own domain.

Availability is served from the community’s own domain rather than handing visitors to a third-party portal, so the listings stay on westridgetumwater.com and the site keeps the search credit for them.
